Montana 

Montana has great scenery and beautiful national parks with lots of wildlife. Check out the different regions for more information. Montana is the 4th largest state in the U.S. right behind Alaska, Texas and California

There are many things to do in Montana, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking or just plain driving around to look at the sites. A visit to Montana is like taking a step back in time. You can find ghost towns from the 1800's or follow the Lewis and Clark trail across the state. If you love the outdoors than this is the place for you. Montana has warm dry summers and generally mild winters unless you are up in the mountains.

Billings
Billings is the largest city in Montana and is host to many interesting and historic events. You can experience a wide variety of things to do in Billings, anything from The world famous NILE rodeo to a quiet visit to the Yellowstone art museum. Billings is known as the "Magic City" due to it's rapid growth. Billings sits in the middle of the Yellowstone valley which was home to Native Americans as long as 10,000 years ago and later by trappers. Billings was established in 1882 by the Northern Pacific Railway and named for the president of the railway, Frederick Billings. The city's history includes the famous as well as the infamous. One of the more colorful charecters was cigar-smoking, gun toting Martha Cannary, better known as Calamity Jane, a pal of Wild Bill Hickok. There is a wealth of history to be found in and around Billings. If you love the western lifestyle you will like Billings. There is no shortage of sports and recreation either. Billings is home to it's own first rate hockey team, basketball and baseball teams. You will just not run out of things to do here in Billings. Billings is located in south central Montana on the only freeway that runs east to west, Interstate-90. You can also fly in to the Logan international airport.

Beartooth Mountains
The Beartooth Mountains are home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the lower 48 states and is quite a hair raising drive to the summit. The Beartooth highway is a must see if you visit Montana. To get there just go south out of Billings on Hwy 212 to Red Lodge and from there it will take you to historic Cooke City and on to Yellowstone Park.
